Why are we worried about Bohemian Rhapsody ? Bryan Singer hasn’t made a good movie since the 90s, and even if it is good (unlikely) his tattered reputation will not win the film any Oscars. That’s akin to Weinstein winning an Oscar in the heat of #metoo.

Makes sense, given that there are 3 musical movies in the game this awards season. Of course A Star is Born is included. Personally I think Bohemian Rhapsody won't be much for a threat. They have no original songs. Maybe Best Actor. Biggest threat is Vox Lux with Natalie Portman. It currently gets a lot of good critics and features music by Sia.

No wonder that they would want to damage competition.

It was picked up 6 hours ago by Neon. Neon has no other Oscar contender this year so they’re going to push it hard. It’s definitely coming this year.

I think we as Gaga fans just cant quite believe the success and acclaim Gaga is getting so we hype up negative stuff just so we can fuel our pessimism that play out our insecurities. 

Im not targeting anyone. Im so overwhelmed about this all and sometimes I focus on the negative too much. 

But just give us this moment.  Let us bask in this glow and don't dampen it!  As I read every Gaga article out there I feel proud for Gaga and all the hard work she put in and all the talent she channeled for this project.
