MEM 3,114
I haven't seen the other ASIBs because I want to experience this one first and go backwards, but I came across this compilation of my favorite scene in the trailer, as I didn't realize it was an homage! Anyway, maybe I'm biased but Gaga/Cooper's chemistry is through the roof, it's by far the best one. The next best one is probably the 1937 version, because he says it so gently and her reaction is sweet. The 1954 one is okay, but he doesn't look like he's in love with Judy Garland, it's like he's checking her out like a casting director...idk. Very platonic. But omg, 1976 is...horrible? She turns around angrily, and he does that low-key creepy "come over here" with his finger, he honks the horn, she looks frustrated walking all the way back to the car, he says the line and then licks his lips What do you think? Stone S 1,133
The one from the original movie is so charming and cute though it made my heart warm but tnh I think Gaga and Coopers version is going to be the best out of a ll of them I can't wait Welcome to Industria
Eddie 2,518
I need to see the original one...there's something about classic movies that make you fall in love with the era and I want so bad to live there (of course if I was white, straight and had a ton of money ) What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?
Luv u Sum 2,377
The 50s one is my favorite out of the 3 already released it's so cute and I love how Judy played the character! I was surprised at how terrible the 70s one was tho... like I liked some of her songs are great but over all the movie is painfully boring and doesn't really come through as emotional with the way it ends. Lmao yes everyone sleeps on the original 1937 one because she becomes a famous actor, not a singer. I love old Hollywood tbh. Omg that nose/face scene does not even compare to Bradley’s version. The slow motion and the sexy music kicking in and Gaga’s wtf face = perfection.
DrewPa 3,762
Pretty much everybody agrees the Streisand version is the weakest, partially saved by the OST. and the Garland one is the best... so far? I'm a real Fire CRRRACKERRR
