The post you replied to is accurate. Justin has had more success this decade. That doesn't mean that Janet has not had her successful eras and tours, (and that her last two weren't successful) or that she isn't someone worthy of great respect. It simply means that JT is still incredibly popular and remains relevant. Both artists can exist in the music world, and be successful in their own right. Justin lost a fan that day because it was so wildly insane that he was able to remain all over the place while Janet was literally blacklisted. His fault or not, never mattered to me. Karma is one nasty piece of wake up call tho. Just ask Man Of The Woods. Les is a known jackhat. This makes so much sense its surprising it took this long to come together. It's like a DUHH moment. He was known for stuff like this, is known for stuff like this and will forever be. I could go on about that but I'm picking my battles wisely. Damita Jo wouldve been a SMASH had that man not done what he did. As a Janet fan since Control, I found Damita to be her strongest record since Velvet Rope. Janet was back!.....until she wasnt. And who is this white man to expect Janet to tha mofo Jackson come crying at his feet like a sinner to a saint when all she did was perform the performance while Justin TimberGreat nearly ripped her strawberry bounce off her body?!?! Please. This goes to show, yet again, the power of the white man in entertainment and what praise and worship does for you. And I'm a white man so yea. Good for Janet for refusing to bow at the feet. She publicly explained the incident, offered an apology for it. But that's not enough. Who knows what wouldve happened had she met Les in a hotel conference room to plead forgiveness. Mmmmhmmm.
