You know my favourite statistic or fact? Country/acoustic genre music is the biggest selling and always has been. Considering the digital age, social networking, genre & the attention it got, 21 should have sold alot more. It flopped for a country-friendly genre album. I'd rather all her interviewers were this "b---hy" and "shady"(at least according to GGD), if it regularly got these kind of answers from her. I understand what you're saying, but why is the interviewer saying it as if it's a fact that one genre of music is "better" than another? That's like saying rock music is "better" than country music, because the general public likes rock music at a specific point in time. The GP isn't an accurate judge of the quality of music. They're genres, it's all a matter of what kind you personally like the most. It's not fair or accurate to say one is "better" than the other, because there's no fair or accurate way of judging it, besides how much work is put into it. As I've said above Gaga puts just as much (if not more) work into her music as Adele. Why even compare the two, they're two different hardworking singer-songwriters making two different genres of music. They're incomparable. Do you kinda understand what I'm saying? I think perhaps the article could have been written better. I will give the writer the benefit of the doubt, though. Gaga seems pleased with the article - she called it "the tea" which must mean she approves. And Gaga knows what the writer was asking and she knows what her words mean. LOL Madonna have like 5 albums with more than 20 million sales and she's a pop artist. And she doesn't do lot of promo like Gaga. You're DELUSIONAL Madonna's had a longer career. Gaga and Adele are still relatively new artists. Compare Madonna's first three albums' gross and revenue (before there was illegal downloading) to Gaga's three albums' gross and revenue (in a point where illegal downloading is at an all time high) Btw, Britney Spears' first two albums even sold more than Adele's. So that must mean Britney Spears is more talented than Adele, right?
