FATCAT 60,886
I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers. Robagaga 9,345
This presidency just keeps getting crazier by the minute Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.
rumours 45,521
“Although he was elected as a Republican, the president shows little affinity for ideals long espoused by conservatives: free minds, free markets and free people. At best, he has invoked these ideals in scripted settings. At worst, he has attacked them outright.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.

ferretti 5,808
This is probably saving the nation from a lot of really awful decisions, but it's truly not enough. They can't just cower and try to mold the administration in the corner. The Republicans in Washington need to speak up against Trump so this stupid country can at least try and right this abhorrent wrong. disco stick tester, inquire within

The author (from my interpretation) seemed to be using the terms economic conservative and republican interchangeably. I’ll agree that most mainstream republicans have never been proponents of personal liberties or even free markets.

I could have because I'm super confused at how a party that has vociferously upheld and voted for this dictator wannabe is also supposedly the one that has stood for free minds and free people. My gay ass has some memories that don't correspond with that statement Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
