Personally, I've started being distant towards Gaga and especially towards this forum due to how cringy, childish or ill behaved can some of 'little monsters' be. djparky 262 Posted September 5, 2018 Share Posted September 5, 2018 All fan based have their own fanatical elements, some of M' s fan base have been truly unpleasant at times about anyone or anything that threatens their beloved Queen. It made the Madonnalicious forum quite tedious at times ( the mods did a great job running it) That some of these people must be in their 40's makes it all seem a bit pathetic really. I haven't particularly noticed with Gaga fan base but sure it exists as well. Equally forgetting that M has frequently cherry picked images or sounds at various points of her career- none of which bothers me particularly, anymore than when Gaga does it I've spoken to a number of M fans who also like Gaga I've been a Madonna fan on and off for a long time, I've lost interest in her primarily because I think music she's released post COADF has ( with a very small number of exceptions) been utter crap Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I admire Gaga more because she sings, but Madonna is also a great performer, and lets not let rivalry ruin both of these amazing pop artists for us. Not all Madonna fans are toxic, same goes for all fans. I listen to music from many different artists, some of which I become a dedicated fan to (like I am to Gaga) but I like a few Madonna songs too. If you're being harassed by a Madonna fan just ignore them and hope they stop shaming people as if they're in some sort of Madonna cult , they're just not worth it. I actually love her and her music. She's not the problem. I'm honestly just hoping ASIB and LG6 are commercial smash hits so those "fad" jokes can finally be squashed for once and all.
