A Star Is Vindicated: Gaga is finally the Gaga we knew she was going to be.

So I’m fighting off a sinus infection and the meds have me feeling overly sentimental about everything happening right now— just want to say some stuff

I recall the days of 2008-2013 having to explain to my friends and parents that Gaga was truly a talented artist with many talents. But no matter how I explained that she sang live for her performances, wrote her own songs, produced her songs; I still had to receive dissent on the fact that she was actually a musician. “Shock value is all she knows” “She’s a man” “She’s a Madonna ripoff” “Her fifteen minutes of fame are almost up” were all common quips I tried to persuade against with not much success.

Deep down like so many others that have remained loyal since day one, I saw how special her craft was. The heart, the message,  her ability to stay true to herself, and above all her talent told me she was here to say and that SOMEDAY down the line those people who accused her of being a flash in the pan would have to “face the music”.

As we enter a new era- which is promising to be filled with critical acclaim and incredible music and passion provided by our Gaga, I believe that SOMEDAY is now Today.

So here’s a toast to us and Gaga.

‘Raise a glass to mend all the broken hearts of
All my wrecked up friends’

We should take a moment to realize that Lady Gaga is here to stay. This fan base is the best in the world, (no matter who’s “slaying” the abysmal top 40 charts with crap music).

Let the hard work that Gaga and her team have put in, as well as our undying loyalty as fans be recognized.

This is vindication.

Love you guys!

Justin

Yes she is a natural talent, so proud for our girl all these years. :sara:

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

She really is one of a kind. I seen it from the very start just glad that the GP are finally opening there eyes and ears and realising what a talent she is.

You guys have no idea - or maybe you have - how it feels when your parents says "wow she is so talented and beautiful" like they did yesterday when they saw her on the news.

All the media talking about here, my whole facebook tl is full of her and there isn't a single negative comment.

At least 4 people told me in the last 24h "omg we have to go to see ASIB".

She deserves all this and more.

I’m hoping now after this people start to take her more seriously in the same way they blindly do with Beyonce. Who, in my opinion, makes Gaga look underrated and misunderstood as an artist. Beyonce is the polished product of dozens of peoples’ creative input. Gaga has so much more talent. She’s a beautiful soul, never/rarely talks **** on anyone, and I’ve followed her for coming up to a decade now. Feels like a lifetime. I sometimes feel like she keeps my life interesting and my underlying but deteriorating depression at bay. I dunno what I’ll do if she dies, it sounds weird and crazy fan like but oh well

I’m not drunk or ill right now, but I love her so much! No one could understand, especially those around me. I had a few “faves” before Gaga and my obsession with them didn’t last as long as it has for Gaga. HAIL KWEEN

Breakdown

You're right! This is truly her spotlight. I want her to be remembered and respected. Even though it seems infantile, I get really upset when someone speaks so bad about her, doubting her talent with so much conviction as if that were the truth, I get sad when she gets undeserved hate just because she's a "flop", she's weird, she's not the same anymore, she's a try hard/copycat, she's an LGBTQ+ ally, etc... She's a unique artist whose heart is as big as her talent (and that's saying A LOT), she's one of a kind. She's not perfect, but she acknowledges her humanity and she doesn't pretend to be something she's not.

I hope ASIB and LG6 are the moments where her legacy will truly be cemented and acknowledged. When you talk about how Gaga did impact the industry they think you are lying, exaggerating or delusional; but you know what? Gaga has talent, and she's achieving the praise again and she will keep coming even farther, because of her talent, compassion and her beautiful soul.

Maybe at one point she was thrown many stones, but one day, she will be given what she truly deserves: and that's nothing but respect, acclaims and love.

So starry eyed on the flowery hillside, breathless and fervid amid the dandelions.

I know what you mean- my parents were really critical of my ‘obsession’ but I think they are really seeing how special she is and has been for some time now.

They want to see the movie, with me. That is just the best feeling in the world

This will go down in history as one of the best reinventions an artist has done with their career. I feel like people don’t give her team enough credit, they are SO smart, Bobby is SO incredibly smart, everything, even if at times didn’t look like it was so well thought out and planned, it’s almost insane to think about. Even though at times I was losing faith in regards to her ever being accepted by the GP again, deep down I always believed that her true talent would push through and bring people back to her again. I am so proud and so happy for a person I don’t even actually know, but I feel like I do and who has done so much for me even though she doesn’t even know it. She is the greatest artist of this generation and she is the face of it, she will go down in history as more then just a pop singer but an actual legend in the arts.

It's a great accomplishment for Gaga, but lets be honest Gaga and her team achieved this in spite of most of her fanbase not really being supportive since 2013.   She's done what she's done by doing almost exact opposite of what most of her fanbase was screaming for.  Congrats and thanks if you were one of one of the supportive ones throughout.

The fanbase has at least recognized her talent throughout however.   But I would in no way try to credit the fanbase with Gaga's success.  This is her talent, her ability, her own sense of direction for her career that has put her where she is now.

Gaga IS Gaga, there is no team of people that have created her. There aren't many pop stars left like her. Also, the fact she never talks **** about anyone (she's above it all) makes me so proud to be a monster.
