Not Releasing Singles From ASIB OST is a mistake

I don't understand this decision at all. Gaga hasn't consistently released commercial pop music post-ARTPOP era, and based on the Heal Me snippet, this album sounds like it could have some of the most commercial Gaga music in a long time, and not capitalizing on that with radio play possibility seems like a huge mistake. Gaga's relationship with radio seemed to be recovering somewhat with Million Reasons and The Cure, but now I fear that goodwill will all be lost by the time LG6 comes.

These just sound so radio friendly compared to Million Reasons and Perfect Illusion. :cryga:

It wouldn't be a good idea, however, it's just speculation. We don't know what the plan is. Let's hope they so what's right.

Levine

Ok, lemme tell that to the professionists who work for Gaga and for WB and took that decision for the best.

Who knows, the second trailer could go highly viral, they could release a music performance on YouTube ?

They said there wouldn't be a single release before the soundtrack/movie is out. There can still be a single after ASIB has come out.

well million reasons got picked up as a single and sent to radios after it doing well on it's own. maybe if the soundtrack is a hit and a specific song sticks out of the bunch then they will make it an official single

I think they will send to the radio depends on the popularity of one of the songs..

If I'm not wrong, Let It Go was a single months after the release of the soundtrack and movie.. and it was the Demi version I think..

ASIB soundtrack is not a regular album so all the promo is totally different, it's something that you need to understand and to change your way of thinking about it..

Edit

According to Wiki

Frozen soundtrack - November 25, 2013

Let It Go single:

Demi Version - October 21, 2013 (almost one month after the release)

Idina version - January 2014 (4 months more or less after the release)

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Well to be fair the music in the film is from the character she plays. Making a single from it will just make people think it’s Gagas brand new single.

Im pretty sure there will be a short press tour before the movie comes out and then the album comes out same day as the film doesn’t it? And then that’s it. It’s not like she will be promoting the film for months with a tour. It’s just a movie with a soundtrack.  :saladga:

Interscope released the single from La La Land the same day as the release of the film and the soundtrack slayed. And that’s all.😚
