A Gaga Surprise @ the 2018 VMAs

Hello fellow heartbroken little monsters! 

Today is another day - Monday! It’s the start of a new week, full of hope and hopefully not meltdowns. So, the reason I decided to make this thread is because… well, we all know what happened yesterday. Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of the Lady Gaga’s debut album The Fame! It was a symbolic day for our fandom and for Gaga herself. That’s why we were all disappointed when we realised that there wasn’t going to be any official announcement from Gaga herself about The Fame’s 10-year anniversary, except from a post on Twitter two days ago, announcing the re-release of special edition The Fame USB. A bit odd, isn’t it? Yesterday, we marked a very important milestone and set a new one, for another 10 years together. Sure, there should have been something, right? 

 

Gaga’s silence yesterday, along with other reasons which I’m going to mention below, has led me to believe that there is a surprise coming at the VMAs. 

 

 

Below follows a list with all the ‘signs’ that imply one way or another, that something is going to happen tonight:

 

1. As I explained above, the absence of a 10-year anniversary mention. Won't there be anything else coming apart from The Fame USB? 

2. #2018RadioIsOurs

We have seen Gaga along with her producers NUMEROUS times recording in studios through their posts. They’ve been giving us hints here and there (Boyz Noise: “We’ve written a hit”, #2018RadioIsOurs, etc.). We even have a mute video of Gaga running an entire orchestra! What is all that for?! We know ASIB isn’t LG6 and we also know that LG6 must be coming this year - unless Gaga’s team doesn’t keep its promise and release music another year. So, if that is true and we are getting a new album this year, when is it going to come? We don’t have much time until the end of the year, plus keep in mind that albums aren’t released out of a sudden. There is a lead single, a promotional single, a music video probably and of course promotion. Given the circumstances this week, with Gaga’s debut album 10-year anniversary and with the hype for The Enigma Shows, wouldn’t it be the perfect time to release the lead single of LG6? 

 

3. The Weird Photoshoot

What was that all about? It’s a bit much to be just a usual photoshoot. It literally came out of nowhere. It wasn’t for a magazine (probably, and if it was she wouldn’t be putting them out like this), it wasn’t in the middle of an era and it was completely different. She didn’t just go to the studio and took some photos. At least, it doesn’t look like that type of photoshoot. So, what was it for then?

A music video for the lead single probably? At this point, I should also add that many people think that the pictures were taken off of a screen with the ‘texture’ they had, adding to the theory that it could be for a video.

 

4. The VMAs Bringing Up Gaga Consistently

Now I know this happens every year before the show, but don’t you think this year was a bit too much? So many posts, the upload of Gaga’s 2013 performance - not to mention the slogan “EVERYTHING MIGHT HAPPEN 👀” AND their comments on Gaga’s latest posts on IG!

 

After ALL this hype from the VMAs and the secrecy from Gaga & her team about a new project, shouldn't there be AT LEAST a video debuting at the show (like Taylor Swift did), even without Gaga herself attending (because Bobby and some members from her team are not in NY)? 

 

 

*Btw, if Gaga doesn’t show up this year or isn't involved with the show, I will be FURIOUS at VMAs. 

They’ve literally been picking on her since the last time she attended to gain a viewing audience.

I think at least that Gaga will present an award or somewhat be involved in the show. The VMAs are commenting on each new photo of her and I that's not a mere coincidence. They never did that before to Gaga and wouldn't have any other reason for that. And remember that Gaga went this year to the MTV Movie Awards without saying nothing.
