New single and Vegas announcement at the same time

Okay so just try to imagine how many wigs would fly is she announced the new single and Vegas at the same time. I know Vegas has already been announced but I’m talking about show dates and date when tickets go on sale.

So my perfect timing would be:

- Single, official Vegas residency and dates (including the dates that tickets go on sale) announcement 10 days before VMAs.

- Single release Friday before VMAs + music video premiere and performance announcement for the VMAs 

- Tickets go on sale just after her well choreographed, iconic new VMAs performance and new music video premiere. 

I honestly think she could get no1 single just with this promo and I think half of our fan base would literally die if something like this happens.

I love how many people collectively seem to forget the existense of ASIB which will require her promo late sept and (early) october and then again in dec-jan-feb to promote the soundtrack at events to promote it for award season (see TIHTY) oh and let's not forget TIFF (sep6-16) and Venice premiere (Aug 31)  and this would likely not give her a chance to promote LG6 the way you described it

Yes to all of this. LG6 or not, it would be so random to me if she announced Vegas without at least a sign of new music coming too. like, she signed this thing almost a year ago. She's been in the studio plenty of times. It'd be so random to not put some new music out. Literally even a 6 track EP or something would be welcome at this moment (tho an album would be better obvi).

I still don't get why so many people overestimate the time it takes to promote a movie tho. A movie is not an album, most of the work is in the film itself, not the promotion of it (if the majority of work would be in the promotion instead of the film itself that'd be a bad sign lmao). Usually when movies are out, actors don't take 6 months out of their schedule to ''promote'' it. Instead, they finished filming the movie like 6-12 months prior to its release and are likely already onto starring in the next movie. 

Promoting the movie shouldn't even be Gaga's task tbh, Warner Bros can do it themselves via trailers, billboards, you know, stuff people actually may be confronted with. Not by 300 appearances at artistic festivals with an audience of 1k.
