luckyanderson 379
I don't get why people insistently encourage her reprehensible behavior. Azealia Banks is obviously suffering from severe mental illness and nobody is helping her. There is a FINE LINE between being somebody's "problematic fav" and being Azealia Banks. As a longtime Kunt, myself, aside from her recent music not peaking my fancy by ANY means, I've also stopped giving the attention she so desires and craves. Everything she does is either overhyped or hypocritical and considering she hasn't even released two full bodies of work she is nowhere near deserving of the "legendary" or idol-like treatment she recieves. Her music is innovative but generic following the same trends set out before and to be continued thereafter her. She really needs to devote her time to getting proper aid and truly being confident and able to express herself and her talent without feeling the need to constantly tear others down. freebit 6,240
At first I thought she was talking about the singer Ashanti, lol. Anyway, Azealia is incredibly paranoid and always thinks everyone is out to steal her creative ideas. For example, she seems to think she owns the idea of mermaids & seapunk aesthetics. That said, I see where she is coming from in that a lot of bigger artists' creative teams do seem comfortable in taking from lesser known artists, and I do believe that dancer could have cribbed AB's choreographers moves, but I don't think it has much to do with Azealia personally like Azealia is framing it. I don't get what Azealia had to do with the choreo beyond hiring the choreographer for Count Contessa. Shouldn't this be the choreographers fight? Or did she make up a lot of the moves herself? It's like she's suggesting she wants to be Beyonce's choreographer and personal advisor or something. I agree with her on the ootd's though. Dying @ "up & coming fashion toast b**ch" and the Fashion Nova mention. I always felt like the standard IG model posts were oddly below her & doesn't quite go with the mysterious persona she is cultivating. Those posts are like a trashy, Kylie Jenner-ed needle scratch on her otherwise beautifully currated IG feed. 10 hours ago, Borislshere said: The fact that y'all agreeing with her just because it's something negative about Beyonce. I wonder what Bey did to Gaga to make yall hate her so much. ^This is repeated everytime two or more users have a negative opinion on someone here. There is not a conspiracy against Beyonce. If negative sentiments are going on in general on stan twitter, then they are going to be reflected on a fansite & pop forum like this (such as a main popstar "flopping", crowds looking thin at concerts, singers shading others, someone giving a messy interview etc). I used to be on a Beyonce forum back in 2013 before either AP or self-titled were even released and Gaga was dragged all the time for no reason other than users didn't like her. This site has never been a utopia of positivity & kumbaya. While it's not quite Exhale-level awful, following Gaga's "no negativity pls" ethos has never been on the agenda here. People are obviously going to have opinions. No one has anything to gain or lose from liking or disliking her on here.

And I have the right to call it out. You’d defend Gaga if there were people trashing her, why can’t I defend Beyoncé when people trash her? If it were just one or two people trashing her then there obviously wouldn’t be a problem but clearly that isn’t the case. Go search any Bey thread and you’ll see the massive amount of negativity she gets. 9 minutes ago, freebit said: always felt like the standard IG model posts were oddly below her & doesn't quite go with the mysterious persona she is cultivating. When she doesn’t share/show her life, people claim she’s acting godly and thinks she’s above everyone else. But when she does show you more of her private life, all of a sudden it’s below her and she’s being basic? It’s not like she’s out here promoting some trashy product like IG models do. I'm not saying you can't defend her. I'm just disagreeing with the idea that this site is mostly conspiring against her. You are a fan of Bey and seem to really, really like her, I completely understand feeling aggrieved if someone says something negative about her. Yeah, I will defend Gaga when something seems unfair, but I do not feel there's a vendetta going on everytime she's shaded on non-fansites like ATRL, R/popheads, or popjustice (unless its an obvious Pawsdown type of course). I accepted long ago that some people are just are never going to like her, or simply have their own valid (yes) criticisms that I may or may not agree with. Where I'm coming from is that there is no harm in treating her like everyone else. Beyonce is going to be fine. I do think there's been some reaction to her being treated with kid gloves, and this naturally happens everytime someone or something reaches a peak of popularity & media praise. Sometimes criticisms will be valid & understandable, sometimes not as with everything. #OOTD's are not what a consider a peak into her private life. They are the most unnatural aspect of a social media feed. There's nothing inherently wrong with the idea of them, I'm just saying they don't fit with her persona, or her more artful posts IMO. I'm not saying azealia is that person whose more deserving to adorn, but she is at least one of the best in the rap game regardless of what she says/stirs things up, i can't say the same about beyonce. Someone with a 20+ years career is highly regarded and successful because of white guilt? Do you know what white guilt actually means your comment is low and pathetic, the way Beyoncé Beyoncé triggers some of y’all is ridiculous.
