Guest Blue Madonna
Seems odd... it's not like they were afraid of backlash for the meaning, music has been and is very often sexual! It would likely be a hit, with a dope beat and I feel like a fairly contemporary beat. It's not at all trap, but it somehow feels modern and GP-friendly. Gaga performed it at the JWT, so she clearly liked it, and I genuinely think with proper promotion and a sexy without being tacky (*ahem* Nicki Minaj *ahem*) video, it could take off! Why, Gaga, why? Sebastiaan De Graaf 201
John Wayne proved how the gp doesn't care for her music anymore so Dancing In Circles couldn't do well either Still a bop though
kabirartfling 9,063
The whole vibe of the album was very different from it, I feel like gaga kept that song in the album as gift to satisfy her fans, who love dance music. Plus I think I am the only person who thinks it would have flopped harder than GUY. Beats are dope, chorus is fire but not relatable to the gp or friendly enough for the radios Give your love to me
Magneto 13,432
Music is often sexual, but usually the women have to sing in cute metaphors. And even then it had to be about sex, but masturbation is a big no no, even for guys... Not saying I agree btw, but that's just how the GP sees it Free my mind

John Wayne had a music video with more visuals than PI and MR so if it isn't a single I don't what it is then The Cure followed the trends, it is one of Gaga's least experimental songs to date. Still a positive bop Also, Perfect Illusion flopped. 3 years no album and #15 And a chart run for 6 weeks. Million Reasons got a lot of promotion and skyrocketed into the top 5 due to Superbowl but at least got the recognition it deserved
DONAJENDRO 1,914
Bc it's not even close to radio friendly (or even interesting but that's kind of unrelated ). Mad Onna

River 116,872
I mean, in a place like the US where every day you see people protest against masturbation and a place where they still f-ck the kids minds to be virgin until they marry, do you really think a song like DIC would be welcomed? So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

The video we got was just a gift for us fans/promo for the album. Just like Joanne got a video without being a single or an example by another artist, Katy perrys hey hey hey that was never a single but still got a video. Still disappointing how Hey Hey Hey has almost 100 million views while John Wayne and Joanne struggle to get 50 million views Katy is kinda overrated on YouTube

It's not up to you to decide whether or not it is a single. It's up to them and they decided it was not.
