Carrie Fisher Returning + Skywalker Saga Over In Star Wars Episode IX

Carrie Fisher will be returning to the big screen in Star Wars Episode IX! Newly announced director returning to Star Wars J.J. Abrams said “Finding a truly satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker saga without her eluded us. We were never going to recast, or use a CG character. With the support and blessing from her daughter, Billie, we have found a way to honor Carrie’s legacy and role as Leia in Episode IX by using unseen footage we shot together in Episode VII.”

Yay!! The movie is slated for December 2019 release which tbh I can't wait that long for but I guess I will have to Pumped!

It’s good they found a way to use her character that pleased everyone. I was devastated when she passed, especially since Star Wars was such a big part of my childhood, so it’s good to hear.

However I am glad they found a nice way to keep Carrie/Leia in it. Archive footage is okay.
