RAMROD 109,745
They don't have funds anymore to keep the business running. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1040792/000121390018009741/f8k072618_heliosmatheson.htm Not personally affecting me since I am not member and I can already see this is not a good business type so not surprising tbh. Feel symphaty for y'all MP members tho. Cancel it as soon as you can before they charged your money and don't give you anything in return. Method 45
Never used it but it sounded so great. Are there any alternatives?
River 117,464
This shows how ridiculously the prices of the tickets is high.. Like when I was a kid the price was half price, even more.. we could go 4 people and still buy snacks without selling a kidney.. (also just see how much Titanic did compare to how the most sold movie of each of recent years, to understand how high the price is..) So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Forgot its exact name, something like Club A or something. The difference is, unlike MoviePass, this AMC member stuff also will allow you to benefit from watching at premium theaters or IMAX (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

In some countries movies have always been luxury, I believe. It is kind of unfortunate. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

Yep, also the screening hour counts too. Matinee shows are lower priced than evening shows. On cinema I frequent to in San Fran, regular theatre for matinee is $12 and evening shows $15 for adult, Senior and child $11.25 on either. For premium with recliner seats, adult is $15, Senior and child remain the same. And 3D $15.25 for adult, $14.75 for Senior and child on Matinee shows, While on Evening shows, it will be $18.50 for adult, Senior and Child are unchanged. Yea, well at concession I usually would get candies like caramel balls and such. Just trying to support them since it is where they got most profits. The theatres don't usually receive royalties for the first 2 weeks of screenings of movies, especially block busters, aka the most crowded weeks. They only got their part on the 3rd week and on, hence some films can be played until months in here. I didn't know that, it's not really fair actually, just imagine how much money they lost from IW... I also noticed a decline in 3D and 4DX movies, I think it'll go away very soon and the 2D will be the major type once again.. Sometimes, some studios also dictate the cinemas how many screens they want them to play for their movies or they will not play at all at theirs. I think 4DX can last longer than 3D, just for the fact it is more fun. It feels like on a ride, honestly. While people only stationary with 3D. Also not many movies actually make use the 3D to its best potential. Honestly, only Avatar that make use of it to the max. I am not sure where this movie business are leading to, especially some of major studios have been bought by another major studios, so they can always introduce new business plan altogether. I hope it's for the best tho. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

Yeah 4DX is fun, I really like it, but it's also depends on the movie, like the car chase scene in Black Panther was amazing and fun but during JW we had so many standby scene.. I think the best would be a MP like subscription.. just like streaming, we pay a fixed amount of money and we get a fixed amount of movies to watch per month.. it's the best formula..
