Yuuri 21,636
For decades, every South Korean man has been expected to serve in the country’s military as part of the ongoing tension with North Korea following the Korean War armistice of 1953. For most male Korean celebrities, this has typically meant putting their career on hold; for many, it has come amid the peak of their career and resulted in lost momentum. On July 25, Ha Tae Kyung of the Bareunmirae "Righteous Future" minor opposition party appeared before the National Assembly Defense Committee to call for amendments to the criteria that currently determine who receives special exemptions. The call came amid petitions from some fans, such as this one published the day before Ha took up the issue, to the government, in which they request that septet BTS are exempt from mandatory military service due to their immense success internationally, and their historic No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their album Love Yourself: Tear. Currently, however, it is an impossibility so the politician urged the government to reassess what sort of achievements could lead to exemptions. "I looked up the special cases of military service, but current military law shows BTS is not qualified," said Ha, per a Korea Times report. https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/k-town/8467171/south-korean-politician-calls-for-military-draft-exemptions-bts Spoiler @Haroon, @PartySick move thid thread if you feel like it belongs in the Enterainment section, though it can fit here. Yuuri 21,636
I honestly think BTS shouldn't get this exception, unless they grant it to all male singers.

Bloody hooker 6,445
They won’t get an exemption, but may receive an extended delay time. Similar to BIGBANG. This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
I mean, **** drafts in general and conscription laws But this is kind of iconic and messy. The kii if they got the exemption 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
