Tbh even if a song gets the public's attention, the public still has to like the song and they also have to like what comes afterwards. He wouldnt have had huge albums like the 20/20 experience if the public only liked cry me a river and then nothing else.

This sucks, I didn't know that about JT. That's very sleazy of him. I knew he and Brit Brit had a very public, kinda-obviously-for-promo relationship but I didn't know he aired their sexual habits on radio shows  That combined with the Superbowl/Janet Jackson incident shows that he has a habit of using womens' bodies for his own gain and throwing them under the bus.

It actually is impossible to put Britney, who actually was/is a solo music act, in that talentless category that I described.

The national tabloids were included when illustrating the talentless and talent-free approach Justin Timberlake employed to start his solo career just in case there were any morons who suggest that he launched his solo career with the single "Like I Love You" because, of course, the national tabloid covers preceded the single's release.

You simply have to digest the realization that Britney Spears created/established/launched-whatever the hell you want to call it-this former teen boy-bander's-who should have ended up like Nick Carter- solo career.

And I'm sure we all heard about Golden Globe nominee Mandy Moore's recent comment on pop at the turn of the Century, which confirms that only one person in that former couple had any lasting impact in the music industry.
