Did you read the post and not understand what I said or did you not read the post at all? When you do drugs it ****s with your nervous system and it messes with your neurons and neurotransmitters. Yes, it was her initial decision to start doing drugs, but additions are not just things you can stop. They change how you function. Like I told the previous user: do your research.

yes, i understand completely & i stand behind my point. drugs are not something to play with. obviously additions are not just things you can stop, it's heroin ffs, if she thought she'd get off with this with a mere hangover, well, then the sis needs to get educated. i've seen what drugs do multiple times way too close to me, so i know exactly how these things go, and i simply cant bring myself to have any sympathy. you have one life, one chance to make it good. if you're gonna ruin it with heroin, that's where my sympathy ends.

well probably lol, if she was having a mental breakdown she would still get into trouble but the law can recognise when it's caused by mental health (most of the time)

obviously it's down to her to manage her own health but she's an addict, she legit cannot help if she relapses every now and then the same way people with depression can't help feeling depressed

I'm not saying that what she did was right, but when your life seems to be spiraling down and you think you have no other thing to go to, you simply cannot blame a person like that and cut all of your sympathy for them out of the picture. Now I don't know Demi's personal life, but from what I've seen in her documentary and what I've heard her say sometimes, she's had it pretty rough. 

She's a public figure in the spotlight, I don't think people fully grasp what that's like. We've seen in 5F2 how nervous and anxious Gaga gets when she just walks out of a hotel. She was literally hugging her family and friends as if it was the last time she was going to see them. 

Everyone doesn't handle the pressures of fame in the same way, and instead of throwing away your sympathy, you instead should have sympathy for people in the public spotlight before it's too late. Instead of saying "Oh, well we shouldn't feel pity for her because she did this to herself," try and be more loving and caring. She didn't do this for no reason. 

It's like with people with depression and people who commit suicide. Are you going to blame those people because "Oh well, they chose to do that to themselves." People always talk when it's too late, and it very easily could have been too late for Demi. Have compassion to begin with and maybe they wouldn't go down such a dark road.
