It's literally because of the UK that I and so many other LGBTs in many Colony-Countries are incriminated, with upto life imprisonment under Section 377, originally under the British Law. And the fear and stigma that come alongside with hiding and trying to fit in or being outed to the cops by someone is something that I wish didn't exist.

I'm not saying this to be against the fact that it's so much better in the UK now. Nor am I trying to put down the pride month and the celebration that y'all are very rightfully entitled to. I'm just saying this so that y'all get to know something that y'all probably didn't know about. 

I actually hate myself for typing this out. But oh well. Happy Pride Month I guess.
