Rumour has it they split up months ago but were just keeping up the charade to make it look good as their baby is barely a year old. Its been speculated ever since the pregnancy was announced that Cheryl only pursed Liam because she desperately wanted a baby and thought he seemed young and naive enough to believe that she was in love with him and not be aware of how she accidentally on purpose slipped up on contraception. Since the birth, its just been a matter of when she thought it seemed right to call it a day. Long enough to make it look good, like it was a genuine relationship. The fact they announced it at the start of the week (time for the gossip magazines to cover it for next week) and the day after her birthday is so telling, like they'd been planning it for a while. But seeing as they'd kept it up this long, Cheryl's comeback album is in the works and Liam's debut's due for September, I honestly thought they'd wait until after they'd both released and then end it. Because it's so cringey when an artist makes an album that was all about their current partner, how in love they are and how happy they are together...but then, 3 months before the album gets released, they get dumped, can't bring themselves to sing all this happy lovey dovey music, so they push back the album and go back into the studio to make something more mournful. I don't know what they'll do here but it must be awful when your album's all ready to go and then you get dumped and think: "Damn! Why didn't they wait until after my album to dump me? I could have used that heartbreak as quick and easy material for my next album! Now I'll have to shoehorn it into this one!" I really feel for Bear (that name alone will haunt him, parents together or not) and how this will affect him. To grow up knowing that his father was barely there before he broke up with his mother. That he only saw him for about an hour or so on his first birthday before flying out to Japan. How his father put his career ahead of his newborn. Yet another member of 1D is an absent father now. It's really reflecting badly on them. I do wish celebrities would think twice before reproducing with someone who they're not married to and have only been with for a few months. So many of them have no proper foundations to raise kids. Too many of them are too in love with themselves, that's the problem. It'll be interesting to see what people these two will date next. Will Liam go for another older woman or stick with girls his own age? And will Cheryl, now that she has the baby she wants, stop falling in love with every man she meets or be married to someone new by this time next year? It just goes to show how fake so many celebrities are. A couple of months ago, Cheryl was asked how her and Liam were and she said "We're fine." Why do they lie? It annoys me so much.
