I mean it sort of makes sense.

I'm expecting Gaga to release her album towards the end of the year. Once Vegas residency starts there's really no way for her to promote it. She'll definitely kick the promo season in August or September with the lead single and have the album released in November/December.

The fact she goes to the studio almost on a daily basis, reflects that she wants to wrap things up as soon as possible.

this! she is in studio now to record jazz versions of her greatest hits plus 1 or 2 original jazz songs with brian newman and band. maybe a couple of duetts with tony.

then the residency will be all jazz with covers and her best songs in jazz versions.

and she can do lg6 at the same time, just without a tour.

makes sense for her health too.

and sense for a release at opening night.
