BABYL0N 2,839
my theory is the people who used to download music illegally back then are the ones who are using streaming devices nowadays and I think they are mainly people who listen to urban or hiphop lmao

QueenMortuana 974
who cares? The charts are silly anyways. I’m still bopping to my bops that aren’t considered top bops and I’m happy.

Havana not huge ? Umm okay sis if you say so I was talking for 2018 But I get your point but you can't compare it to 2011 ofc there is a big gap hahaha I was 16 in 2014 so i had a lot of bops Female pop stars was huge and everything was catchy or electro, with the world cup and the beginning of the twerk (😅) it was really good when you realised it, I remember how people were dancing on *shut up and dance with me* Female features was everywhere: bang bang, fancy, problems, can't remember to forget you, flawless.. (Pop) Taylor, Sia, Tove lo, Ariana and the weeknd was new, Katy was on top, gaga were on artrave, everything was so colorful idk why but it was a fun and catchy year

How was being a 6/7 year old when Gaga came in to the music scene in 2008 ? 2008-2011 was a golden age for modern music. You'd hardly hate anything that was on the radio. I just think this “music is so terrible lately” is overrated. There are plenty of artists making amazing music - maybe you shouldn’t have to only look at the charts 🤷🏻♂️ But anyway, those are my opinions. Seriously though, there is amazing stuff hiding all over spotify... It's bop heaven
NewYorkCity 10,462
True. Music is so bad that I had to abandone my 2018 Spotify playlist and start listening to my “POP HITS” playlist which includes everything. Cuz yeah, this year sucks in general. Straights are taking the hot 100 and we can’t make anything about it. Gaga please save us.

There was nothing better than being super wasted, and hearing either Applause, Summertime Saddness, Scream & Shout, or I Love It start playing 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111
