It can be one day off, but there is no other way.

Not releasing the soundtrack by September 30th would basically disqualify it from being nominated for any Grammys for the simple reason that delaying submission until October 2019 would hurt the album chances since people would forget about the movie by then. Unless her management is really stupid, she will release the soundtrack 7 days ahead of movie release, just like Black Panther this year.

Grammy Voters usually decide on the nominees late October. It's the perfect time for Gaga, since by that time everyone will be talking about the new ASIB in the music industry, and the songs will be fresh in their minds.

I'm confident that her team is smart enough, but not releasing it by Sept. 30th will be catastrophic.

I'm sure they will lobby for it at the Grammy's this year because next year would be too late. So you're right, it'll come before the 30th of september

They absolutely won't sacrifice likely nominations at the Grammys and a single (The Shallow?) is likely coming in late August/September imo so an album release earlier than the film is not that weird.

The fact that with this soundtrack she could snatch at least nominations at the Grammys, Golden Globes and Oscars has me SHAKING.

It makes sense. Since LG6 is supposed to be released in 2019, they can't be this silly to submit both in the same year.

I don’t get it, cause interscope can be so smart sometimes with other artists, but ever since 2011, they seem to be all over the place with gaga.

It almost feels like they weren’t anticipating her to be as big as she was, and they didn’t think it would last as long as it did, so they get overwhelmed working on her career, and that leads to such **** decisions sometimes. 

They better release in good time for Mother to become a 10 Time Grammy winner this year.

This is just me, but I guess them knowing Gaga could be so stubborn they just let her be. Especially after all the ARTPOP mess. She already paid her dues, she can do whatever she wants.

I don't like to be pessimistic but going by previous releases it will be released at the completely wrong time and flop in the charts and Gaga will do lazy damage control and say she doesn't care about the charts anyway.

Well the movie is out on October 3rd in some countries so yeah the music is coming sooner lol
