The movie was supposed to be out in May I don't see how they would still be in the recording process when they were in the mixing process in June. Exactly, the soundtrack has to have been completed months ago, they can’t be going back now, specifically because there’s other things involved besides just recording and mixing, A&R has to order physical CD’s to be made, the packaging and artwork for the album booklet, promotional campaigns need to be shot, the music has to have been completed a long time ago. This is for her solo album! She’s been working with Mark Nilan since she was on tour’

She'll need a few months after to rest up and finish the record. I doubt she'll dive straight into a new era after the Oscars, just like what happened with LG5. May would be the VERY earliest I see a single coming but knowing that Interscope would like to save her until Q4, that seems most likely at this point.

You don’t promote a movie for three months, she’s going to promote it at the very least for a month, they’ll film TV slots and campaigns but you don’t promote for three months 😬

She’s gonna have more than enough time for ASIB

Back in a day, a press kit (set of materials which is distributed to members of the media for promotional use) contained documents, photographs and other relevant materials packaged together, and given to members of the media as part of a media conference.

An electronic press kit (EPK) is a press kit equivalent in electronic form. Any format can be used: CD, DVD, Internet (E-mail, WWW, newsgroups, etc.), USB flash drive, ....a range of audio-visual material.

It looks like the studio already knows when the film will be shown prior to a wide release (movie festivals/industry screenings), and gearing up to meet the demand for promo material it will generate.

Venice's opening movie is announced tomorrow and TIFF's lineup in a week. I'm excited!
