Katy's earnings have been strange since 2015. Prismatic tour grossed 200m or something and what were her earnings 135M?

From June 2014 to June 2015?

While the singles she released at that time underperformed a lot?

No way she got more than half of the Prismatic gross for herself. Artists usually gets 20-40%.

Forbes saying she grossed 1M/show for Witness isn't true because they thought this from the boxscores reported by her promoter, but they only reported boxscores for 39 shows only.

 

If her tour really grossed 80M from 80 shows (for that June-June period) imagine she gets 40% that would mean ~32M.

We are @ 57M. + some Witness sales/streams

Katy isn't in a 360 deal, meaning her label don't get any of her touring money, and she had the upper hand when negotiating the promoter for PWT because she booked CDT herself. It's all in her Forbes interview from that year, she met with promoters and basically asked them why she should sign with them if she can do it herself. Hence, she got a bigger cut.

Katy doesnt have a 360 deal, she gets most of her tour income. Hehe.

music royalties and current music ain't even past 10M for most artists.. like let's say her music was consumed 2,000,000 SPS (album equivalents).. around 20M gross.. do we honestly believe she's getting more than 10M of those????
