Hope Delicate's success as a 4th single shows Gaga's team that just because we're in the streaming era, giving up after 1 flop or even 2 flops in Taylor's case isn't always the end of the era and the right song can take off. The GP doesn't think in singles. They don't hear Delicate and say "ew it's the 4th single I'm over this album". They probably won't even check out the album or have checked it out. But they sure will stream the song, ultimately helping the album.
