I'm not surprised tbh, when Applause didnt reach the #1 spot on the hot 100, I remember that I read nasty comments about her. Some of her fans sent her death threats, sl*t-shamed her and called her a flop.  

they don't care if she releases country albums, they just want a #1 song.
