Dido's 5th album 'Still On My Mind' set to be released in 2019

'British singer and songwriter Dido has a fifth album set for release in 2019, her new label announced this week.

The “Thank You” singer Dido is newly signed to BMG, which will release her latest album next year. Dido is said to have co-written and co-produced the album along with her brother and frequent collaborator Rollo Armstrong of Faithless.

Dido rose to fame with her 1999 debut album “No Angel” which included the hit singles “Here With Me” and “Thank You”. The latter track was famously sampled by Eminem for his chart-topping single “Stan”, earning Dido wider acclaim.

"Girl Who Got Away" and "Safe Trip Home" didn't sold that much, but "Life for Rent" and "No Angel" were big million sellers

I got chills all over my body. Her body of work is incredible and her albums were hugely popular during the start of the decade and you can't deny how influential her sound was during that time. I'm truly so excited for this. She's so unbelievably talented.

Her first two albums are incredible. I find myself listening to her songs every week or so (probably more times than Gaga to be honest).

 

Let me re-listen to her last two albums, since they didn't really grab my attention.

Ok I am ready for this. Dido gives me some feels I enjoy and its been awhile since ive listened to her.  Super excited.

While we are at it...here is my favorite DIDO song. Its great with headphones, eyes closed, laid back and up loud.

I will give this a listen. I hope she goes back to that original No Angel sound. She has such a warm voice and some of her songs cut through the heart like a switchblade. Just gorgeous. I like her.
