The marketing for this era has been very very commercial and kind of insidious compared to her past eras, so this doesn't surprise me. Not that I really care, but I don't think we should take this as a cosign that fans clearly think this is her best, most popular album. It's still nowhere near the success of 1989  Taylor's team (with her knowing about it lol) did some kinda skeevy ish to get ticket sales so high with the album roll out and what not. People that bought the album more were more likely to get good tickets and stuff, which is like - a good business model, but personally rubs me the wrong way.

OF COURSE when you're doing shows in 60,000ish people capacity venues, and doing a decent amount of shows, the grossing will be much higher than arena tours

I really do hate that artists massively overcharging for their tickets has been so successful. This was a good business decision on her part, but it doesn't exactly make me respect her more. And since her main problem rn is that not many people outside of her fanbase respect her idk how this is gonna go over with the gp. Most likely her fans will get even more cocky and insufferable and turn even more people off.
