Unfortunately I only started stanning so hard during the U&I Era :nooo:

You don't know how much it hurts to have only GP-like memories from the slayage that was the TFM Era :nooo:

Well, in my case I started to follow her right after her first single when I discovered that she's a talented performer (at first I thought she was just a basic b*tch :emma:).

Honestly, she was already huge during the Fame days, it was even more surprising to see her being bigger during the Monster days.

I thought she was a typical pop star during the Fame days, but when Bad Romance came out, I just knew she was different than the rest. It was what made me love her

her.

I realized she was different with the Paparazzi video but I know what you mean!

i remember when a tagged snippet of alejandro first leaked and it blew me away! then the demo of bad romance floating around getting me all hyped for the album (yes, album.  over 30 minutes, 8 tracks, it's an album to me.  there's only how many other albums that are considered studio albums with only 8 tracks, or even 8-10 tracks with a few only being interludes)

Bad Romance is not the most iconic song of the century :nooo:
Decade....? Its a reach, maybe. IMO Poker Face was more iconic, and Fuse agrees with me :lolgaga:

Gaga SLAY and DOMINATES with commercial music. But she still wants to release mixtape sounding albums just to go for a certain direction. We'll get an album/era just as good. ... One day. She needs to start back wearing crazy ****

I remember and miss it. I still have the Monster Ball DVD to revisit that time, but I am grateful for a exciting time it was. I did enjoy parts of her other eras as well as newer and older songs. But that brief period had me taken for the sheer energy of it. I really felt her music was going to bring people together and start a movement and it did to a degree, changed the music landscape and contributed to the cultural dynamics across the world.
