"I Like It" Officially A Single. Goes To Pop Radio Tuesday

It's official! 

"I Like It" from Cardi B's album Invasion of Privacy, will be her next official single. The song will start being promoted to Pop Radio on May 29th. 

The song has already been getting played regularly on Urban, Rhythmic, Latin and Tropical radio without even being an official single because of how popular it is (just like "Walk It Talk It" by Migos, which was eventually officially released as a single). This is her first single from her album being promoted on Pop Radio. "Bodak Yellow" was a crossover hit and peaked at #23 on the platform. "Bartier Cardi" and "Be Careful" did not see major radio play on the format. "I Like It" has alreadyy received some airplay on pop radio.

 

This gives the song a BIG chance to be the summer smash I want it to be. There are now SO many radio platforms embracing the song. Pop radio is the biggest platform. I think I smell another #1 for Cardi.

They already have. Already a top 20 hit in Aus, UK etc where she’s never had a song apart from the Bruno feature do well. Without promo the song did great, with promo is going to be huge in the US and pretty successful WW

I work on commercial sets and the song's been on our set playlist since the day the album came out, and no one ever gets tired of it. It's gonna be a HUGE smash I think.
