Green Detox 2,779
Kind of ironic when she’s the most talked about best selling artist at her peak. Yet the other songs manage to outsell/outplay her on those Hot 100 chart tracking weeks. Ex. Tik Tok blocking Bad Romance. And the Born This Way era should’ve been her Teenage Dream era full of #1s
The Louvre 3,423
Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Telephone, Alejandro and The Edge of Glory got robbed. It's said the map of the world is on you. The moon gravitates around you. The seasons escape you.
Moo 2,082
Paparazzi genuinely feels like a global No. 1 though especially. And Bad Romance obviously. I feel like if they’ve waited until January to start TFM era she’s have at least two more. They could’ve pushed Paparazzi more throughout the Autumn, got it to #1, and then started Bad Romance in Jan when Tik Tok was out the way... oh well. Telephone could’ve been #1 too if the radio release and video premiere weren’t two months apart...
LGMonster95 13,704
It's because her music was not trendy for the radios, it was different, the fact that she got so many hits it's REALLY impressive, most of her hits that didn't managed to be #1 on hot 100 shits on whatever is called a hit nowadays
TEANUS 14,799
Streaming wasn’t a factor during her peak, or Bad Romance, Telephone, and Alejandro would all be #1s. Judas would’ve been a top 5 as well British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

Katsuki Bakugo 9,788
Her Number 1 Albums count more. Plus its only one market. US is the biggest but it isn’t the only one that matters. Taide 5,789
Paparazzi Bad Romance Telephone The Edge Of Glory Applause Do What You Want Million Reasons we’re robbed. And DWUW would be her biggest hit if treated right but oh well.
Economy 48,905
#1s are a funny thing because there's luck involved. How fast it rose and what was the peak in a single week for a songs success determines this Also competition. Bad Romances was the #9 biggest hit in the US in 2010 but got blocked by Til Tok the biggest hit of the year There's songs that were less successful than Bad Romance in 2010 that did go #1 So #1s is a bad way to measure success because there's too many variables that depend partially on chance Top 10s is better to go by because if a song is a big hit it probably will go top 10. But #1 a lot of factors can prevent a smash hit from technically hitting #1 Also a less successful song could get a lot of hype and promo in a single week and go #1. A more successful song where promo and hype is spread out may prevent a higher single week peak!
shame 25,360
she makes up ha lack of #1s with Grammys and other accolades angels forever, forever angels
Andrea B 16,733
at the end of the day #1's in the US are not really that important for example: Xtina has five #1's in the US but she has only sold 130m records WW in 17 years. Katy has like nine #1's in the US but has sold 180m records SPS WW. we should expect more sales from these two girls since they have more #1's than gaga. Gaga has only three #1's in the US but she has sold 195m records WW. She has a lot of #1's song across the world, the US is not the only country. and the reason why she doesn't have that many #1 in the US is because of bad management and luck

Not only these were good choices but Gaga and fans hold these songs to such a high standard you would think they are #1 hits.
