As a puerto rican living in the US I speak both english and spanish with my customers. It IS an advantage that I have over my co-workers because at least 25% of our customers only speak in spanish. And even though I always feel limited because I only speak two languages and we have customers from all over the world that visit the store and I want to make the experience more comfortable for them.

if you walk into a store and an employee starts speaking a language you don't speak, you politely ask for an english speaking employee because you don't speak said language

if there are no employees who speak your language then the correct reaction is to say "oh no worries then, thank you anyway" and find another store

All languages are welcome here. If a Spanish speaking person is spoken to in Spanish by a worker, great. That does not impact this man, it doesn't impact anyone. You'd rather if someone who only spoke Spanish came in and the server spoke Spanish that they pretend not to and simply not help that person? Why?

He's also a grown man, a lawyer who is literally demeaning every single inch of a person. Their nationality, their body size, their immigration status. He's threatening to remove them from this country based on entirely racist stereotypes. The people he's attacking are almost certainly much younger than him too. Should they have been a bigger person, probably, but I'm not going to get mad at a 20 year old for responding to such insane hate.
