Well there definitely are religious conflicts in this, but this dates back to a border based issue...that is still, unfortunately, strongly present.

I’m convinced some members just read the title, think ‘Middle Eastern’, and automatically say, “well **** religion, the world would be so much better without it, blah blah blah”. That is such a superficial understanding of the situation and I urge people to actually look up the history of what’s been going on here in contemporary history before posting those kinds of comments. 

Palestinians can be Muslim, Christian, Jewish (there are some documented privately), and atheist. Religion is only one small component of the bigger issue at hand. 

OT: This is despicable and disgusting. My thoughts are will all of the minors and families murdered today, and the loved ones who won’t be able to see them again. It’s heartbreaking. 💔

I didn't say it has nothing to do with religion, it has small part of the grand issues. At it's heart it is not a  religious conflict and painting it as such just downplays the real issues that are going on.

Both sides need to reach out though. The massacres of Hebron against Jews was before Israel was even created.

We can point the fingers to the Israeli government all day and for a right reason, people died on their watch and by their guns.

But where are their leaders, instead of protecting them and pulling them back from the area, they are encouraging them to go and protest.. so it's a 50/50 blame to me..

No one will bring them back, they were only a small tool with hopes and dreams in this political and religious war that led by psychotic leaders.

I'm just sad, I just woke up to those news, I really really hate my government and their leaders, I'm checking to see if someone I know died..

Nazis killed Jews. Jews (Israel) kills Palestinians.
Jews suffered so much in the past and now they're doing harm to other people
It's not right! After so much death and pain from the Holocaust that they been through they must be kind to others, not kill them...
