Guest
music wise: bad romance everything else: thriller  Thriller basically invented good music videos and is one of the most recognizable things ever.
ArtGagaPop 61,940
I want to say Bad Romance but most likely Thriller Both are some of the most impactful/iconic songs and videos of pop though.
Monsterish 5,520
Bad Romance is the little sister of Thriller and I'm not a big fan of MJ, but that's that on that
Chromatislaps 34,840
I love Gaga, her music and her music videos, but let's not be delusional: Thriller. In the early 80s music videos were either or live footage from concerts or weird video/artsy video collages. Thriller was the first music video that actually had a proper plot, a budget, superb production and amazing (yet to be matched) choreography. MJ was also the first black musician and entertainer to be featured on MTV because of Billie Jean, Beat It and Thriller, it used to be a white channel with hard rock music, etc. MJ's music, m/vs and concerts brought together people of all walks of life to such an extend, people today take for granted what his accomplishments did for popculture/culture in general. Every single, every music video and every tour or concert was an event. People waited in full anticipation for everything he did. The last time I've seen something similar was during Gaga's TF and TFM era (hence why her fame was at it's peak). The last time Gaga's music videos really were an event the world waited for was Telephone...after Alejandro the media slowly began to turn on her and made people less interested in her... Nowadays we see videos like This Is America trending on Youtube, if YT existed in the 80s... don't think it would be trending at all.
That J 12,166
To the world? Thriller To Gaga fans? Bad Romance The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw
EART HL I NG 436
I stanned MJ before Gaga and stan culture was a thing. As much as it hurts me to have to pit two of my favorite songs against each other I have to say Thriller hands down. BR is Gagaâs equivalent to Thriller but itâs impact isnât nearly as close.  I still bop to both tho
geusst1235 5,398
Thriller by far,it was way,WAY more influential in almost category.MJ was basically a cultural phenomenon during that time period.Everyone knows Thriller basically everywhere you go,the same can't be said for Bad Romance. That song/video changed the entire industry and affected millions upon millions of people. People said the same about Madonna every few years and she did Ray Of light waaaaaaaay into her career. Lady Gaga has released 5 albums. There is plenty of time. Just because you got a B on a math test last week doesnt mean ya cant get an A today.  Lol The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw
