No offense, but her manager is constantly sucking up to her just so that he doesn't lose his job, as shown in Five Foot Two. She really needs a management team that provides good counsel to her, a team that won't shy away from disagreement when it's warranted. In some instance she needs advice from other people. And her manager should be doing that. Because right now, I really find her new manager to be incompetent. He's mostly interested in pleasing her, rather than helping her be more successful. And by that, I don't mean that she needs a manager who confronts her or argues with her, but a manager that is genuinely candid when it's needed, and has the ****ing balls to say "gaga this isn't good idea", or "gaga maybe we should pick a different single than this"... literally when? bobby has made her successful the past 2 years, bobby is genuinely candid when it's needed and he does have the balls to say this "gaga this isn't a good idea" it's just her choosing to listen or not listen which came back to bite herself in the ass when she chose not to listen to bobby telling her to take care of her body also her label picks the singles https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ

You do realize that everything that has happened with R. Kelly (aka Gaga's worst managment mistake) has happened under Gaga's managment before Bobby took over? And that her "garbage managment team" and incompentent manager managed to book Gaga at the Oscars, Grammys & Superbowl two years in a row and produced an era with a Platinum album, 3 Top 40 hits, two of which hit platinum. Bobby was part of the team even before 2013 I believe. Actually, my theory is that Troy Carter was most likely against working with R. Kelly. He was fired right around that time. I'm not defending him or defending Gaga either. But Gaga did make reckless decisions in 2013, mainly due to her depression. Gaga was invited to perform at the Grammys very often, and it has nothing to do with her manager. Same thing with the Oscars & the SuperBowl. These things come down to the reputation and the performance skills of the artist, not the manager. However, Joanne was a management failure as well. One of the least-radio friendly songs on the album, was chosen as lead single. I don't think it was even performed on any show? (aside from the japanese)... No promo at all. The single sold 100k in its first week, which is okay sales wise, but disappeared quickly right after, and hurt Joanne's chances overall. Million Reasons was not even supposed to be 2nd Single, until it outperformed as Promotional Single. The music video for it is a joke. It was all chaotic, just like ARTPOP was. She needs better marketing/management team for next album. Also, while Applause was rightfully chosen as lead single by Jimmy Ivine (who genuinely helped Gaga throughout her career, and luckily he helped her pick a decent lead single for ARTPOP), there's no evidence Perfect Illusion was chosen by him. It seemed that Jimmy Ivine stayed out of Joanne era altogether.
