I remember I had waited so long for the song to come out. In 2010, she kept telling the story of her grandfather passing and the love story between both her grandparents and what the song meant. She also described it as a Springsteen esque track with amazing saxaphone played by the now late Clarence Clemons. It was the only thing I was looking forward to the whole year. It was my first year of university, I was a shy introvert and Born This Way was such a revelation for me. 

I remember I listened to the radio premiere and upon first listen was actually slightly underwhelmed because of how light the song was (I expected it to be as hard as Judas). Over time though, it became my favourite Gaga song. I became obsessed with working out and it became my ultimate workout song!
