Did you dislike 5 foot 2?

I only just got around to watching this for various reasons.

There were more things that I disliked about it than I liked. I don't want to spread negativity by listing them all but I'm wondering if anybody else has opinions of it that are critical or somewhat negative?

My number 1 gripe is that it seemed very contrived even though it's supposed to be a real documentation. It just didn't feel real to me. Does anybody else feel the same?

I disliked that it wasn't longer :lolga:

Been trying to think for like 1-2 minutes about anything I actually disliked and I can't to be honest  Not sure whether that's because I was super thirsty for seeing behind the scenes Gaga stuff (always been crazy for it :cryga:) or because it was actually amazing - probably a combination of both :laughga:

It wasn't what I expected for sure. A bit like a very stretched Gagavision episode, except from the godly superbowl shots at the end.

I liked it a lot not because it was a good movie per se but because it let me be so close to Gaga for those two hours and I think that was te most important, but no, didn't really feel contrived. Unfocused, maybe.

I think the absolute opposite!

I didn't expect it to be so real!

I watch it everyday because it truly helps me to accept the fibro and my authentic side

To me, it felt like one of the most authentic documentary films I've ever seen.

It's not her being interviewed throughout the whole thing telling the camera how difficult life is, but instead there's someone recording what's happening. And she just exists in the moment.

I wish it had been produced like Britney: For The Record. That was the best musician related documentary ever. It was fun at points and somber at others. Fab music, fab and honest interviews. 5 Foot 2 was a little too haunting and indie. Loved the lead star though.

I dislike watching Gaga undergo so much pain with her fibro, but at the same time it was a powerful moment to watch her acheive her goals and remain a talented, successful woman.

The only thing I disliked is that it didnt show the fun side of Gaga. Aside from Superbowl, most of it was too sad :(

Sure we had the Perfect Illusion and Joanne release, but the doc focused more on the sad and emotional parts

To me it was  REAL!!! Not staged at all, it was just Gaga's life at that moment ,not very glamourous like many people would think...

To be honest that was my first thought after 5ft2 ended. I wanted something similar to for the record. 5 foot 2 was still great though. Just a little too sad

I thought overall it was good however I wish we got more footage of her in the studio and preparing for the halftime show as the ending felt slightly rushed.

my favourite part of the documentary had to be this part though:

EVERYTHING about this scene is just completely stunning yet somehow haunting.

you can serve it to me ancient city style...

I enjoyed it but it did feel like we were just floating through with her, seemed like it lacked focus, but I’m pretty sure they were going for that day to day life of Lady Gaga feel and it worked
