I don't want to spread negativity by listing them all but I'm wondering if anybody else has opinions of it that are critical or somewhat negative? My number 1 gripe is that it seemed very contrived even though it's supposed to be a real documentation. It just didn't feel real to me. Does anybody else feel the same? I liked it a lot not because it was a good movie per se but because it let me be so close to Gaga for those two hours and I think that was te most important, but no, didn't really feel contrived. To me, it felt like one of the most authentic documentary films I've ever seen. It's not her being interviewed throughout the whole thing telling the camera how difficult life is, but instead there's someone recording what's happening. And she just exists in the moment. It was fun at points and somber at others. Fab music, fab and honest interviews. 5 Foot 2 was a little too haunting and indie. Loved the lead star though. Loved the lead star though. To be honest that was my first thought after 5ft2 ended. I wanted something similar to for the record. 5 foot 2 was still great though. mamo 18,725 Posted April 26, 2018 Share Posted April 26, 2018 I thought overall it was good however I wish we got more footage of her in the studio and preparing for the halftime show as the ending felt slightly rushed. my favourite part of the documentary had to be this part though: EVERYTHING about this scene is just completely stunning yet somehow haunting. you can serve it to me ancient city style...
