I would definitely give this podcast a listen. It analyzes Perfect Illusion and goes into depth about the use of the Fame and Monster elements throughout Gaga's career, from her musical choices to stems to instrumentals, and her image. It is really interesting and definitely worth the time!

I mean it's definitely not a masterpiece lol But I do still love it in its own special way. Bad Romance is a masterpiece. Million Reasons is a masterpiece. Edge of Glory is a masterpiece. Perfect Illusion? Eh.

There's tons of ugly paintings considered masterpieces in the art world 

jk PI isn't her worst song, but its very far from being her best (lyrics and bridge saved it). I confirmed it at the JWT, it sounded terrible and overall felt pretty out of place.
