We obviously ask people if they'd like a drink first or if they need help deciding on something but if they give us issues than we have no issue calling the police for trespassing. I'm not sure what the specifics of this case were but its a private business that has every right to remove people who are loitering. I've had people come in and claim they were waiting for someone and then get violent when we tell them that they need to purchase something in order to stay inside. Turns out they're the same people who had been busted in our bathroom shooting up. My manager's been threatened and sexually harassed by men late at night for asking them to leave. So yeah, they might have been waiting on someone, but in our case our store has a zero tolerance policy for our safety, and I'd assume a Starbucks would as well. Arresting them was a bit over the top, but at the same time, if you're asked to leave, just leave. It's not that hard. "Who are we, if not slaves to this torment?" There is a white guy defending them and a black cop watching them being arrested. So please, keep the racism bllsht for yourself I also don't see a problem that somebody called the police. If you don't order anything -->leave. But arresting them is too much. But we don't know what happened.
