Ever noticed Gaga’s multiple “tones” on ARTPOP!

Listening to ARTPOP and primarily on the vocals, I really realized something.

Gaga is heard having like 6-7 tones on it.

Just listen to Aura, Sexxx Dreams, Jewels n’ Drugs, MANiCURE, Mary Jane Holland, Dope and Applause in order and you’ll “hear” what I mean.

Gaga sounds different on them all.

Aura and MJH have that kinda “dope” deep voice, Sexxx Dreams she sounds real seductive, Jewels n’ Drugs she has like a soft girlish tone,MANiCURE she has like some accent on it and Dope we all know what she sounds like on that one. And I can’t really distinguish her tone on Applause.

If you never heard Gaga before and listened to Jewels n’ Drugs, then to Dope and then to MANiCURE you would think it was 3 different Artists/ Singers.

She really is the “tone” chameleon!

Have you ever noticed that? It’s one of the things I love most about ARTPOP. It’s awesome how she can have that many different tones on one album!

She has the vocal control and technique to emulate as diverse an array of genres and styles as literally any artist out there.

Another example is ARTPOP song, just listen to the main vocals and then the verses backing vocals.

It's just a beautiful contrast

The most impressive part about this is how natural every single one sounds. Anyone can sing with a different timbre but for most it is incredibly hard to make anything except your most natural one sound good.

OT: This is one of the reasons why I enjoy ARTPOP so much. Her voice/tone is different on almost every track.  It's so interesting. I love her tone on ARTPOP title track and MANiCURE so much. :tony:

It’s crazy how her voice changes so much, i love it though, makes it interesting.  I wonder what her singing voice is like when she’s just casually singing at home 🤔
