She did this song in 2011 and has been waiting since then for Cardi to release her album so she could release it too but she didn’t change the title nor the cover so here is the result

I agree that she seems threatened by Cardi but saying she always raps about being #1 is like saying cupcakke always raps about sex. Of course the most popular songs are about that but she has so many other songs that are about different topics.

ok clearly she has other topics. but it is HER THING to claim being the queen, the most influential, all others are "her sons" etc. where as when cardi is asked about how she measures up her response is she wants to make music she likes herself.

Nicki is at her best when shes threatened. When Iggy was new on the scene Nicki was so polarizing. She wont be overshadowed by cardi this year thats for sure.

So what if her THING is to claim being the queen? Obviously she is the queen of rap and has been for like 9 years now. I love Cardi's humble attitude but I don't like her music. I like Nicki's music but I don't like her attitude. Nicki's best verse; the monster verse has that HBIC attitude all over it but that's why we fell in love with her. We fell in love with Cardi because she's so down to Earth.

All these back and forth  between y'all are futile, she is not some pop queens. She live in hip hop community that abandon artists fast when they think you're not fun anymore or gone from the scenes far too long, or they just plain bored of you, especially if you're a female rapper. And they can never really return as they used to, no matter how legendary you are or were. Many examples already, from Lil'Kim to EVE to Missy Elliot. Or look how they treated Iggy after all those scandals.

And Nicki not exactly selling that much last year either, only certain people knew she was releasing new songs at all. So if these two new upcoming songs making a buzz at all then she probably still have the chance, otherwise, well, you may know how her future is like. Back to mixtapes and shiz, I suppose. At least she is set for life now.

Now she also has a critically acclaimed album, something Nicki probably thought she would get with The Pinkprint.
