So I took Cher's vocals (sorry, girl - RIP) out of the TGT stems we just got, added a pitched up gaga's solo version first verse, and made the closest to a Gaga solo version we'll likely ever have. !!!Disclaimer: I am not good with audio, so don't expect something amazing or anything lmao http://picosong.com/weQ4H/ Because the solo snippet was in the key of B (vs. the cher version in key of D), the first version sounds slightly chipmunk-y. also, the vocals from the cher version definitely are autotune-y, but it's the best we'll ever get. it's still worth it to me to have a nearly complete version, but i could also copy the second verse and just have it repeat twice, too any audiophiles: do you have of any possible way to shift the original solo version up to the new key, without distorting the vocals? I can’t imagine it sounding too terrible hahaha literally the only thing i transposed was the first verse - the rest of the vocals are exactly how they are in the stems. it's just redone's over-production of her vocals - way too much autotune. it sounded weird keeping everything in the original gaga solo version key, too, so i decided to keep the majority of it in the key where we had the most vocals (the cher version). a more skilled audio person than me might be able to start a final version in the original key (B), followed by a transition/key change into the cher version's key (D) starting with the second verse. but i cannot do that lolol Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

They would at least hide more flaws and make it sound more powerful, and dreamy. Also I absolutely love the "Ooooh" part in the beginning of both the demo and Cher version. So I missed hearing it. Otherwise this definitiely the best solo version we have. Though I've wondered if we can work out the key stuff, why we can't slap autotune on the second verse and bridge and throw it into the first demo from 2010. Yeah, it's definitely not perfect - never will be, from me especially -just wanted to have something closer to a full solo version.
