Infinity Wave 7,635
It depends... I could (AND WOULD) totally listen to a long album if it's Gaga (Boris if you're reading please put 100 songs in #LG6) but I can't reach the end of Witness (and I still like that), sooo Colourful
LaLuna 12,732
If the album is good, then no. But the problem with long albums is that more often than not, the longer the album, the more likely it is that most of it will be filler. I find that albums that don't have a lot of songs have a better chance of being good from start to finish. Case in point, my favorite album of all time, which only has 9 songs: And of course:

TheSlash 14,539
I can rarely listen to albums longer than 10 tracks if it's not from one of my favorite artists. That's why I've been listening to EPs lately (currently, it's "Stargazing" by Kygo ) Ew, David!
tomsches 17,431
Depends on the album, there are long albums that are good, but mostly albums with 14 tracks or so have 4 songs that could have easily been left out and that would have made the album more cohesive and stronger as a whole. SO yeah, I'd rather wait 10 years for a good 10-track album than get a bunch of forgettable "bops". And no, I'm not just gonna skip the tracks I don't like. An album isn't just a compilation of a few songs. At least that's what a good album should be. A good album is a cohesive body of work that follows a specific concept/thought. If there are a few songs that are fillers or just bad, they decrease the quality of the whole body of work. So yeah, quality over quantity, but there are long albums that are good as well, like Björk's Utopia which has 14 tracks, or Kate Bush's Aerial, which is a 2CD album. TeenIdle 126,607
As long as there aren't many fillers I'm fine with long albums 𝖓𝖊𝖜 𝖗𝖊𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖎𝖔𝖓
Inferno 2,880
Generally speaking yes. I think its lazy. That era of 2011-2012 where all pop albums had like 24 songs with the deluxe was annoying to me. That whole Roman Reloaded Re-Up era encapsulated that obnoxiousness. Its usually just albums jam packed with a bunch of nonsense hoping something sticks for the listener instead of creating an experience for them.
