Million Reasons would've made a better lead single for Joanne

MR always had great digital sales, over half ot it's total sales came before the superbowl. The only reason it didn't chart high before it, was because it lacked radio/streams since the song wasn't pushed their by her label or radios were simply afraid to play it since they thought it weren't going to be received well after perfect illusions bad callout score. If it were the lead it would have gotten radio deals and TTH placement from the start and woud spent way more weeks in top 10/20 and maybe even goten a #1 peak the week of the supperbowl.

It would have flopped harder than PI. I mean coming from Applause to MR.. yikes

PI atleast had that old Gaga feeling to it somehow.

it's hard because if MR was the lead then, in the case that it didn't well as expected, she couldn't drag it out all the way to february for the SB

idk there's pros and cons but i'm glad MR was a single and DIC wasn't

Almost anything would have been better than PI. Idk why she sabotaged her chances picking it as the lead and then not even promote it. The singles should have been:

A-yo: Gaga loves the song and it would have gone top 10 with some promo and radio deals.

Million Reasons: Album release

John Wayne: 3rd single after superbowl. She loves the song, has good choreography, she made a video for it anyways so why she just didn’t release it with a radio deal :saladga:

Depending how the 3rd single did, DIC should have been released in May for that summer bop. Some promo and a short sexy video on the beach and it would have been :firega:

Hopefully her team gets their stuff together for LG6’s singles

Maybe so. She didn't even promote PI though so who knows, it's hard to predict the GPs reaction to a song

Best choice was DH.. Could have been #1 if gags promoted it.. it could have been her dark horse its just that good

Love it when you call me legs In the morning, buy me eggs

A-Yo should’ve led. It’s radio friendly, reflects the album, a bop (so fans wouldn’t kill her) and would’ve prepared monsters for more country-inspired music. Perfect Illusion made us think we were getting disco rock pop :rip:

Million Reasons would’ve done much better from the offset coming after A-Yo, which radio’s would’ve eaten up. Ideally, we’d have had

A-Yo lead single

MR for album and super bowl

(break for the cure)

Dancin in Circles for summer

Joanne to close the era

No. It should've been this way:

A-YO - Lead

Million Reasons - album release

John Wayne - Superbowl

DIC - Coachella

Oh well... :saladga:

A-YO as a lead would've made G.U.Y. look like a smash hit :poot:
