dit 45,360
Can be about any Gaga collaborator. Not Gaga herself. As in featured artists, producers, mv directors, stylists etc...
dit 45,360
Personally I don't like what Jonas did with the John Wayne MV. I know many monsters see the video as a saving grace of the Joanne era videography but for me it was rather weak and comes in 3rd place out of the 4 videos we got for the era. It felt too choppy, some point of view angles were off, even some scene sequencing was off...it felt very rushed and it felt like a bad attempt...no a FORCED attempt at desperately trying to capture the "Gaga essence". I know the fast pace of the video was intentional so I do not have issues with that. The video was meant to be as chaotic as it looked because of the song's content HOWEVER I felt like he executed that poorly. Just my opinion. gagzus 14,451
Oh I have a lot so hold on for a long post girl for example Paul is her best producer thus far he can make any sound from any genre with her it seems and I’m glad he’s versatile. RedOne’s productions all aged like milk tbh (there’s a reason most fans list TF as their least favourite) and having one outstanding production on a 9 year old song doesn’t make you her best producer sorry. Her current team is her best, because they put her vision and her wellbeing first Inez & Vinoodh, LobsterEye, Bobby etc etc I prefer them to her previous teams. That being said though, Troy’s management is a lot better than Bobby’s when it comes to being an opportunist because I’m sure with Troy he’d have made her promote The Cure, make a video etc to push for another major hit in her discography. However on the flip side the emphasis is on MAKE her. Her collaborators do NOT make her, theres this perception that infuriated me when people pin gaga’s success down to her collaborators like RedOne, Bobby, Tony for C2C etc especially since they’re all men ugh. also not collaboration related but an unpopular opinion; younger monsters who were not here for her peak and success stans who are so delusionally dedicated to stan wars that just want dragginf receipts need to stop begging for to be like a 22 year old again. She’s a damn 32 year old woman she’s grown and has nothing to prove

Don't throw your stones little GMOs I completely support this. Richy Jackson has been uncapable of delivering an exceptional choreography. His dancing moves are too complex and most times don't really follow the song as they should. Unlike Laurieann Gibson, who made every dance routine iconic. I kind of miss that. DJWS is one of the best producers she can work with. His songs with Gaga have the most intelligent production ever. It's a shame he gets so much hate and people still prefer RedOne. The only one who beats him is Fernando Garibay. Troy Carter was responsible for lots of Gaga's greatest achievements and ideas. There's a reason why since he's gone she hasn't been able to constantly deliver exciting concepts. ARTPOP was not a failure because she was depressed or because the label censored her projects, it was because Troy left and took with him all those amazing ideas we were loving and still dream about. I disagree about this part. It wasn't as simple as that. ARTPOP's implosion happened because Troy was fired. Gaga already had a different vision and didn't even want Applause to be the lead. There was so much disagreement and mismanagement within that by the time the album released, Gaga was done and had to let him go. And it's hard to recuperate from changing half your team and staying on top of everything. As for Gaga's commercial success in a post-Troy era, that's just how things have been. She had to recover from ARTPOP, made more mature work, etc. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

Ziggy 10,722
DJWS isn’t a bad producer, Gaga just needs more leeway to get more electronically eccentric. His Judas remix? The Coachella intro? All *very* original and awesome sounds. I have a feeling his sound gets distilled to make Gaga’s songs have a more EDM-lite pop sound so rarely if ever do we hear the full extent of what he *can* do with Gaga. RedOne’s a good songwriter with Gaga, but I think production-wise he’s just okay and too often falls into generic categories when Gaga is trying harder to get away from that. Rick Rubin was her best producer because he *is* the best producer. Even if you don’t like Dope, you can’t deny that that production is so incredibly careful and well-timed that it literally just serves to highlight the best of Gaga (her voice). Rubin gets artists and knowing how versatile this guy is, I would love for Gaga to work with him again. I want to see more of Gaga working with Madeon. I know we say that RedOne wrote Gypsy with her, but after the leak earlier this week, im getting the idea that Madeon did a lot more than we’ve personally given him credit for in the past. Plus, he makes such “happy” EDM that can be pop very easily which I think picks up from DJWS’s lone deficiency.
