Is Robyn a pop girl?

Adding pop to things complicates matters considering pop means popular technically. That being said at this point in musics evolution its come to be a broad term referring to certain sounds or vibes that appeal to a large mass of people....which I think can still be alternative or whatever when you dissect it. Because she may make music that could appeal to everyone and has every right to be played on top 40 yet its not. And thus shes a little more under the radar (although honestly still an obviously "popular" artist). Idk. When you start getting into genres and sub genres and categorizing artists and sounds it gets way more complicated than it needs to be.

Personally, theres this sort of anti-Gaga, Britney, Rihanna sector of pop music fans that prefer Robyn, Kelis, Kylie, Madonna etc and she falls into that category imo. And obviously that even is too porous considering fans of any of these artists bleed over into the GBR categories anyway.
