rumours 45,521 Posted March 25, 2018 Share Posted March 25, 2018 First reported a few weeks back, multiple sources say that a 9 to 5 movie reboot may be in the works with all three original castmates - Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, and Dolly Parton - involved. While nothing is finalized yet, it is believed that the plot will focus around three young women who face sexual harassment from their bosses in the workplace. The three young women then turn to the three veterans - Lily, Jane, and Dolly - for help. The original movie came out in 1980, and proved to be a huge commercial success. I personally think the movie fits perfect with the #metoo movement. That’s apparently in the works as well. They are trying to work around Dolly’s busy schedule which has prevented a Grace and Frankie reunion thus far. However, it’s still being talked about. I don’t think any casting for the younger three women has been done yet. If ASIB goes well and the reboot comes to fruition, I’d love to see her in it.
