Well that's exactly the nature of a rumor. If something isn't completely credible then it's a rumor. We've seen that these leaks have been fairly true over time as well. 

However, this is Trump we're talking about. There's been over 100 people who have resigned or have been fired in his admin in the past year. Many of whom which been at the highest level of security clearance.

Once Mueller got to Trump Organization, Trump knew he was toast. The question is what are we going to do about it? What are YOU (reader) going to do about it? We are learning more and more about Cambridge Analytica, Flynn, Kushner, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the Mercers, and it's all connecting to Russia. So after some research, this seems rather baseless. No one else here in DC is circulating such rumors. Just another twitter rumor thread I suppose...

Brian and I have followed each other on Twitter for some time now. I don’t recall a time he ever really broke news either. When Trump is gearing up to fire someone big, talk usually floats around this town in political circles.

i would be very surprised if trump did that because we've been hearing rumblings from republicans that it would be the final nail in his presidential coffin. 

that being said, republicans flip flop all the time, and donald trump is fundamentally unpredictable. and whether or not he could withstand a mueller firing without congressional action against it is ultimately uncertain. i've seen republicans fall in line with donald trump time and time again, who's to say they won't do it again. they may just build an argument for the firing and the republican base will eat it up.
