Babel 41,301
Madonna went too far and produced a backlash during the Erotica era. Wasn't that the same time when Mariah take over and began to reign the 90's? Her new song isn't even good, seems like a bad re-do of her collab with Busta Rhymes: I really hope her second single will be better, just like "We belong together" was the follow-up of "It's like that". She's a good musician, but it's like she can't move on from rapper collabs. She doesn't need them.
Klou 2,414
OMG Lights is #2 on Hot 100 Billboard is saying it could go #1 next week That is, if the .69 deal doesn't work..... If she blocks my girl, you will see a very angry Klou.
Arturo 40,746
Hey guys, this isn't really chart related but it kind of is idk. This guy from Billboard, @BillboardJonny is really biased towards Gaga as you can see in video on the front page of Billboard. http://www.billboard.com/#/ Also, just by looking at his tweets you can tell how unfair he is. I say, we tweet Billboard to fire him :nacho: A news reporter should not be biased. Oh look One More Night by Maroon 5 is #10 :nick:
Magoo 6
Reconciling the new Hot 100 top 5 looks like this: #position, sales (000's) + airplay (A.I. millions) + streaming (20Ks) = points*, artist, song, (change on Hot 100) #1 166 + 143 + 41 = 260 Carly Rae Jepsen CMM #2 122 + 153 + 43 = 241 Ellie Goulding Lights #3 222 + 75 + 35 = 238 Flo Rida Whistle #4 130 + 162 + 26 = 237 Katy Perry WA #5 102 + 166 + 36 = 231 Maroon 5 Payphone ft. Khalifa where points = 65% x sales/K + 78% x airplay (A.I. millions) + 5% x on demand streaming/K So #2 to #4 were very close but it was the streaming that decided those positions. As CMM's airplay continues to fall, it could be very close between all those top 4 next week Edited August 8, 2012 by Magoo
Bad 32
So happy for Ellie I hope she can sneak a week at #1.
hausofmike 127
Elsewhere in the Hot 100 top 10, Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" stumbles 2-4, though the track reaches a new peak on Hot 100 Airplay (3-2 with 116.6 million audience impressions). :rip:

Math 92
forever angry @ CMM cockblocking Lights?? really, b---h, really??? Sorry but usher did two singles from this album and they both flopped, so this on will too tbh. Scream was definitely NOT a flop. and Climax did pretty good on urban radio. hausofmike 127
Scream isn't a flop. Radio overplays the fukc out of it
craig 680
http://www.billboard...007780552.story Must be a Katy fan b---hing about On Demand component after the write-up. That is her Achilles heel. First time in awhile there is no dominant song. What radio wants to play is not selling great, and emerging songs have ;little airplay. CoolTrainerTerry 1,323
Basically, radio is screwing over the really good songs and over-pimping the HELL out of the same four or five songs.
