corvus albus 38,031
I'm bored so i'm going to start a thread about my favorite pop songs of 2017 The rules for this list are simple: 1. The song had to be a hit somewhere that means it had to debut on a year end list. (Even if it was a hit only in one country) 2. Nothing else. To the list: 10. Million Reasons by Lady Gaga I have my problems with the song but this thread is not only about the album version but also about live performances so i can let it count. Thanks to Switzerland and Italy we have this beautiful ballad on the list. Do not deny that the song starts starts to actually shine if Gaga sings it live. 9. Swish Swish by Katy Perry This song does not take itself seriously and that is what makes this song ultimatly enjoyable. Plus Nickis verse is fiaaah. This song is only here because of Canada. 8. Malibu by Miley Cyrus I missed these kind of songs. Warm and inviting music and lyrics that display pure love. This song just makes me happy. 7. Rockabye by Clean Bandit I love this song primarily for its message but the music is enjoyable too. 6. Feels by Calvin Harris The best summer song of 2017. I am not going to argue here. 5. Love on the Brain by Rihanna This song is about Chris Brown. That is the only reason it is not higher. Thanks to association with Chris Brown. 4. The Cure by Lady Gaga I love the sentiment of the song and the quiet somber music makes it feel even more intimate. I feel like i an listening to a converstion between Gaga and Sonja. Thank you Australia that the song was a hit there. 3. Praying by Kesha The best ballad of the year. The fact that this was a hit during this year and all its controverses makes me smile. 2. No Roots by Alice Merton A perfect song for people who do not feel like they have a home and the instrumental bridge is great 1. Attention by Charlie Puth Who let Charlie Puth make a good song? I am extremely suprised myself that this idiot managed to make such a great song. And nowadays i enjoy everything he releases. HELP ME!!!
